Whom is JEMs after school CLUBS geared for?
Primary school children who attend any Public or private Jewish or Non Jewish school
Is it instead of JEMs?
No, regular JEMs classes will continue to operate each day of the week teaching Hebrew and Jewish studies. JEMs after school CLUBS will focus on other activities such as sport and art.
How many days can my child attend JEMs after school CLUBS?
1-2 afternoons per week currently
Will my child need a uniform?
No, children can wear their school uniforms or can change into comfortable clothing.
Where are the activities located? and where is Pick up / drop off?
All activities are based at JEMs, which is located at 36 Flood St Bondi (above Our Big Kitchen). Sport will be at Waverley Park (with a wet weather backup plan at JEMs), however pick up & drop off will be at JEMs.
What is the length of the session?
As an after school care, our session runs from 3:00 till 5:30 (and up to 6:30 for those who need), however, most activities will begin around 4:00/4:15 giving parents and buses time to arrive from different schools. Depending on the activity most will conclude by around 5:15/5:30.
Does my child need to come for the whole session?
No, the long hours are there to help working parents, and to accomodate schools with different end times, however, you can choose for your child to attend just their nominated activity time.
What will my child do if they are there for longer then their nominated activity?
Prior to the activity start there will be snack, free play & Tefilla.
Can my child be collected from their school by bus?
Sure, if it is a school we currently offer the bus service from choose the bus option on the booking form, for other schools if we have a minimum of 4 children we can provide a bus (provided we have the capacity on that day).
Which schools are currently served by a bus? and on which days?
Bellevue Hill = Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
Bondi Public = Tuesday

Clovelly = Wednesday
Mount Sinai = Wednesday
Reddam House = Monday
Rose Bay = Tuesday & Wednesday

Is there a cost for the bus?
Yes, it is $66 per term (per day of attendace, i.e. if a child attends Monday AND Wednesday it is $132 per term), this covers the cost of running the bus service.
Will my child need to bring afternoon tea?
No, Afternoon tea & water will be provided
